For example, if you register for a dinner, we will share your information with the campus organization that is sponsoring the dinner so that organization will know who will be attending, and to allow that organization to successfully host the event.

Marketing Communications

We may use the contact information that we receive to deliver information about upcoming events or products and services of ours that you may be interested in. We may also share your email address with third parties so that they can send you coupons or other promotional information in which you may be interested. And, in certain circumstances, if the products or services you purchase through the site are designed to fulfill governmental certification requirements, we may share your personal information, as necessary, with the applicable state agency to allow the state agency to maintain its certification records.

You will always be given the opportunity to unsubscribe or opt-out of receiving further communications or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the email communication. Opting-out of receiving further communications from a particular third-party, organization, or university department will only unsubscribe you from receiving further communications from the particular third-party, organization, or university department that sent the communication. Business operations, law enforcement and legal actions

Certain campus organizations may maintain a database about users who make purchases through that organization’s store site that allows the organization to promote and support its products and services and develop a knowledge base regarding users of that organization’s store. We may also use information we collect on this website to monitor and improve the performance of the website.

We reserve the right to release your information without prior notice when we believe it is appropriate to prevent fraud; to comply with law or to cooperate with law enforcement activity or other governmental request; to respond to subpoenas, court orders or administrative agency requests for information; to enforce our policies; to protect the rights, property and safety of our business and of others; or when required or otherwise permitted by law. If you are a parent who believes that we have collected information about your child who is under age 13, please contact us at ebill@ferris.edu or at 231-591-3981 with your child's name and address, and we will be happy to delete the information we have about your child from our records and provide information in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
